With Covid-19 and all the uncertainties for the next 12 months our executive has had to make some hard decisions. The first being a decision to cancel the Nelson conference. It was felt that while it may be possible to travel within NZ by August our invited overseas guests and speakers would not be able to attend. This and along with financial considerations for members to attend it was felt that this was all in our best interest. Planning will now be put on hold for a possible 2022 conference. ...

The New Zealand Lavender Growers Association has had produced a set of five greeting cards by botanical artist Jo Ewing. These cards feature the five main cultivars of lavender used for oil/dried flower production in New Zealand. The cards are available as a set for $24 including envelopes and postage.
