Our organically grown products are produced on the side of an extinct volcano overlooking the tranquil waters at the head of Akaroa Harbour. The seaside village of Akaroa is 10 minutes’ drive away, with Christchurch being just an hour's drive away. The stunning outlook down over Akaroa Harbour and around the cliffs of the former volcano, and the various micro climates, are dominating first impressions.
The property is now a place of forest hues, sky blue and sea green. Established in 1989 the property is approximately 40 acres or 15 hectares. Originally consisting of just four bare paddocks, there are now over 40,000 trees planted, native bush remnants fenced, a predator control programme and an eco-source planting programme implemented.

Akaroa Lavender hosts 4 unique accommodations to provide a place escape from the busy city life, a place to slow down, relax and breath deeply.We also do educational walks sharing the story of our land and lavender growing process.
