NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING AND BUSINESS

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Members of the New Zealand Lavender Growers' Association Inc will be held at Brentwood Hotel, 16 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington

on Saturday 23 August 2008 commencing 9am

This notice of Annual General Meeting and the Business set out above has been drawn up in accordance with the Rules of the Association as they stand as at the date of this Notice.

Any remits must be lodged in writing to the National Secretary by 1 August 2008.

 
GENERAL INFORMATION:

Directions to AGM Venue
Drive to the end of SH1 and through the Terrace Tunnel. Follow signs to 'Airport'. Go through Mt. Victoria Tunnel. Turn right at second set of lights after the Tunnel (Evans Bay Parade, St. Patricks College on corner). The Hotel is the first on left at 16 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie.
The Hotel has a complimentary pick up and return from Wellington Airport. This service is on request only, so members have to phone 0508 BRENTWOOD from the airport and they will then despatch the porter to collect you.
Apart from this complimentary shuttle service there are the general Taxi and Shuttle bus services. There are also Stagecoach buses running from the Railway Station to the Hotel and the Inter Islander has got a Shuttle service to the Railway Station.
The Hotel has complimentary parking facilities.

Accommodation Reservations (Reference Group Number 69690) Any member wishing to stay at the venue can make their reservations direct. You will need to state you are attending the AGM and provide the 'Reference Group Number 69690' in order to get the conference accommodation rate of $130.50 (incl. GST) for twin share room.

Refreshments
Morning and afternoon teas will be paid for by the NZLGA. A catered lunch will be available for members at the cost of $20.50 per person (incl. GST). The sample menu provided indicates a delectable meal with comprehensive variety. The lunch has to be prepaid.

For planning and catering purposes we do need to know the number of members attending, so I would appreciate it if you would complete the registration slip and return with your payment for the lunch.
